The Minet Hub is a new charity founded in May 2013 to support the Minet Library and community centred around Myatt’s Fields Park.

We want to build on the strengths of this unique place by creating a centre of excellence for:

• Green skills and healthy living
  
• Learning, culture and the arts
  

We will do this by regenerating and managing our community buildings and facilities in order to provide space and support for community initiatives, and to foster opportunities for local enterprise and employment.

The Hub is composed of five community organisations located in the Vassall ward of Lambeth. We have come together as part of Lambeth’s Community Hubs initiative to develop plans for a range of community assets that include:

• the Minet library
  
• the Grade 2 listed Longfield Hall
  
• Myatt’s Fields Park
  
• the Remakery
  
• the Minet Conservation Association
  

We believe that by planning and working together we can create a rich community resource for thousands of people in the local area, offering opportunities for training, employment, education, fitness, recreation and wellbeing.
